BRASSCHAAT Major Armand Reussens of Brasschaat built this castle in 1872. Twenty-five years later the castle was enlarged with two wings. The city Brasschaat bought the castle and surrounding park in 1949. The castle was recently restored back into its old glory. You can walk freely in the enormous park and the castle is now a tavern
