Architect Laurent-Benoit Dewez designed this little pearl in the 18th century. Castle La Motte is a neo-classicistic building that was designed according the dominating vision of order and regularity of that time period. It was a new type of country house that was in harmony with the surrounding nature. The big difference of height between the lower and upper windows is caused because of some secret rooms that were built between both floors. |
