FRANC WARET

This mansion is a perfect example of a refined 18th century aristocratic castle. It was Alexander-Frans Count of Groesbeeck who commissioned architect Chermanne to create a tasteful lord dwelling in the tranquil landscape. Marquise Croix d'Heuchin and after them the Counts of Adigné who were decedents of the Count of Groesbeeck didn't change much to the castle and also kept the biggest part of the furniture. Franc-Waret is a perfect example of provincial opulence from the region Namen.
