The castle of Grand Han dates back to the beginning of the 17th century. It was property of the families Chaisnes, Cassal and favereau.
Peculiar part of the castle is the tower of justice dating back to the 15th century. The tower was incorporated in the castle and faces the church.
The tower has a door with a gable and a balcony. It was on this balcony that the clerk from the court in feudal times passed sentence on the criminals.
The castle is still private property and can not be visited but you can view it in all its glory from the public road.
