The first time this castle is mentioned is in 1747. It was in 1766 restored for the second wedding of its owner Knight Jean Baptiste Diffuy. He married in 1740 with Marie-Catherine de Favereau and a second time in 1766 with Marie-Therese van Goeswin.
Knight Diffuy passes away in 1780. In 1817 the castle belonged to Jean-Francois Géradon who was married since 1794 with Anne Gilles. He leaves the castle to his son Jean-Baptiste.
That all the historical information I could find so far. The castle is now used as a school for handicapped children. The chateau was restored in 2003. The castle farm in front of the castle is private property but you can see the castle from the playground.
