The only thing that remains of the impressive castle you can see on the engraving is one small tower. The castle was built in 1529 and stayed in good condition until the middle of the 19th century. After that the castle of the Barons of Hoen fell into decay with the result that one small corner tower survived the test of time.
From the castle farm that was added in 1629 remains beside the monumental gate building, that use to have a drawbridge, also stables and barns. Also the castle farm fell in decay but as you can see on the pictures they finally restoring this impressive building.
