ITTRE

There was already a castle in the 13th century on this spot. The castle was occupied by the Huguenot in 1578 and they burned it down when they left. It wasn't until 1632 that Florent Rifflart, Lord of Ittre built a new castle on the same spot as the medieval stronghold. The current castle dates from 1885 and it is private property but can be viewed from the public road.
