The keep of D'Anhaive can be found in the village of Jambes close to the city of Namen. It stands now a bit disconsolated on the parking place of a market. The keep is however recently beautifully restored.
The keep was built in 1290 in honour of the father of André Chaveas Danhaive. His father dies one year after the construction is finished. Other families who owned the keep are the Hodister, Jean Charlet, the Ponty and finally the Seraign family in the 18th century. In the 20th century it was the Quinart family who donated the keep to the city of jambes.
