This property dates back to 1890. It was bought by Aurelien Bayot in 1908. He wanted to change it into a chateau that could compete with the most attractive estates in the area and he was inspired by the French style because of his mother who came from the Auverge . Aurelien passed away in the middle of the year 1914. His widow sold the domain to the Benedictine nuns in the middle of 1920
The nuns sold the property in 1928 to Mr. Joarlette. He sold the castle in 1931 to the industrialist Victor Lannoy who was also ambassador to the USA for over 40 years. He in his turn sold it in 1939 to Roger Siot who bought it as a present to his wife Marguerite Elias de Mollein. After the passing of Marguerite the chateau went to her daughter Micky Duysan Siot who continues to live there and does everything to maintain and improve the estate.
You can view the castle from the public road and you can rent the castle for meetings, seminars, weddings and other private functions.
You find the chateau in Wepion.
