MELOT

The castle of Melot can be found in the village of Lonzee. Ernest Mélot built the chateau that is hidden behind a vast park in 1895. He was major of Namur and also served as interior affairs minister and parliamentarian. He would live in the castle until his death in 1910. Mary Mélot inhabited the castle until 1960. Her decadents still live in the castle and so it is private property and can't be visited.
