SALM CHATEAU The only thing left of this once impressive stronghold is the massive gate building. The history of this place goes back very far in time. The castle was erected in the early 12th century and finished in 1150. You can view the two tower gate building from the public road. Behind the gate you will see a modern building that is private property. I will add more historical information as soon as I find it.
