STREE The first records of Stree go back to the first half of the 13th century. The castle of Stree is however of a more recent date. The castle like we can see it now was reconstructed in the 18th century and the famous architect Vierset-Godin restored a wing in the 19th century. The in Flemish style reconstructed castle is situated close to the church of Stree and can be seen partly from the public road.
