The castle of Veulen, in the Middle Ages was not much more than a square fortified farm with a part of the right wing and a part of the front date back to that period. A major remodeling took place in the 15th century when the front was turned into the castle as we still can see it now. A second great renovation took place in the 18th century when larger windows were installed and the gate was modernized. The inside of the castle was fundamentally changed and a neo classical interior installed. The castle underwent a major restoration the past few years. These restorations are almost finished and the castle looks majestic again. It is private property but the building can be viewed from the public road.
